The registrar is Melissa Cooperson, 5907 Wilson Lane, Bethesda

RETURNING ROWERS
If
you have previously registered for the Winter Conditioning or
Fall Learn to Row programs, you are a returning rower. Before
registering a returning rower for the Spring season, first gather
the following information:
•
Date of last Tetanus shot
• Name of musical ensemble, if any (specific name of
choral or instrumental group your teen participates in at
Whitman – Treble Chorale, Advanced Band, etc)
as an existing user with the email address and password from the
Winter Conditioning and/or Learn to Row programs. Once you have
logged into the Ronin system, click ‘Register for Another
Event’, Search for ‘Spring’,
and register for Walt Whitman Spring Crew. Register
a returning rower online.
The registration
process should take less than 10 minutes since most information
(address, phone, insurance info, emergency contacts, etc) is
already in the Ronin registration system for most rowers from
participation in the Fall 2005 Learn to Row season and/or the
Winter Conditioning Program. In the Spring online registration
process, you give various permissions and can update any old
information.
- If you
are lost at sea, we’ve got keystroke
by keystroke registration instructions for returning
rowers.
- If you
know your email address but have forgotten your Ronin password,
there is a link on the registration login screen to have your
password immediately emailed to you.
- If you
have forgotten the email address you previously registered with,
not to worry, just email support@roninracing.com.
NEW
ROWERS

never used the Ronin registration system you are a New Rower.
Before registering a new rower for the Spring season, first
gather the following information:

• Parent/rower email IDs
• Physician and dentist address and phone

appropriate medical treatment and to agree to various releases
regarding rowing, transportation and photography. Allow about
20 minutes to complete the online registration.
Register
a new rower online.
- If you
are lost at sea, we’ve got keystroke
by keystroke registration instructions for new
rowers.
It will
be useful to remember the email address you give since the primary
email address you give for the parent (or guardian)
who registers the rower will become your login email
address for future crew registrations.
HEALTH
FORM, ALL ROWERS
After completing
the online registration, you will be prompted to print out THREE
pages of the MCPS Health Inventory Form. The first and third
pages will be electronically completed for you since you answered
health questions online! MCPS requires that the second page
be completed and signed by your physician (questions 4 and 5
– immunizations, blood pressure, etc) and refer to a physical

the Fall 2005 Learn to Row program and already have a recent
three page health form on file in the Whitman Athletic Department
or Health Department, then you don't need to submit the form
again).
If you have already registered for Spring crew, completed the
health questions, but have since logged out of the registration
system and now want to know how to print the completed 3 page
