NEW ROWERS

The Novice Rower Orientation program runs after school Monday through Friday from mid-September through mid/late-October. Weekday transportation between Whitman High School and Thompson’s Boat Center in Georgetown is provided by chartered bus. At the conclusion of the program, the program participants will demonstrate their newly acquired skills in an exhibition regatta at Thompson’s Boat Center.

Please join us Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at 7:30 pm in the Whitman auditorium for an informational meeting for potential rowers and their parents. We will be discussing the specifics of the crew program including fall registration.

IMPORTANT: All new rowers who will be participating in the Fall 2010 Novice Rower Orientation program will need to submit an MCPS Health Inventory signed by a doctor before they are allowed on the water. A link to the MCPS Health Inventory can be found under "Register."
