WWHS Crew Auction and Buffet Dinner

The Silent Auction and Buffet Dinner is our kick-off event for the 2008-2009 Crew Season and one of our most important fundraisers of the year raising over $20,000 for the team. The Auction is a great way to get together and meet the crew team Board, the coaches and crew parents.

The Auction and Dinner Buffet will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Leland Community Center in Chevy Chase. The admission fee for this elegant evening of gourmet food, musical entertainment and great fun is $20 per person. Sponsorships are also available to help offset the cost of creating this wonderful event and to ensure that all of the money raised by the auction will go to directly support the team.

Crew parents play an important role in donating items for the auction. Past auctions have included restaurant certificates, trips, hotels reservations and vacation homes, delicious meals cooked by our crew families, artwork, jewelry, gift baskets and services such as architectural consult, tutoring, photography, salon visits or tickets to professional sporting events or the performing arts.
